My First Scrapbook




Over the last year I have been watching lot of video tutorials and blogs to learn scrapbooking.

I watched anything and everything that I came across on youtube.And then I realized I need to plan properly in order to make scrapbook.

Major task was to identify goal like whether it is just a photo album or a travel journal or a planner. I finally decided to make a photo album with some gorgeous papers and flowers

This was an time consuming process for a newcomer like me. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I wanted to include lots of pockets and envelopes into this scrapbook to make it interactive and interesting.




I have used Butterfly Punch at so many places here.





I have added flaps to some pages to make more space in this mini album.


Added some Tags and photo mats.

Greetings!!! I got lot of paper flowers lingering into my stash. Every time I visit a craft store, these colorful flowers just grab my attention, and I end up collecting more.  Well I figured out I had lot of stuff not being used LOL. Love making miniatures!!

Greetings!!!     I love reading books. Thought it would be fun to create vintage themed mini book.      Created this little 1' by 1'5" book. Book cover and pages all are made up of paper and glue.         Here are some pictures.           Made one more steampunk themed piece.            Rust effect in the frame is added using embossing powder with modelling paste.     Thank you for stopping by :)

Art Journal - So many Books, So little time

Hi all, a very good morning Today I am sharing another art journal layout inspired by Vicky's  Art journal page: Reading . I loved the way she made a stack of books using card stock and distress inks. I chose different quote for art journal and accordingly made changes in elements. I decided to add clock in background. I stamped clock numbers on white cardstock using Ranger archival ink and then coloured it with Artistry ink - Blue Moon I made clock hands from white card stock and coloured them with Artistry ink - dark Umber. It was fun. To add more fun to this page I added wooden owl sitting on the top of book stack. Sharing some more pictures of final layout. Thank you for stopping by :)
